Well done Kyron!
Recently, Kyron Pearce set himself an incredible challenge, to run 2 ultra marathons in 2 consecutive weeks to raise money for Weston Hospicecare.
Eight months ago, Kyron’s partner received the devastating news that her uncle, Andy, had been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Kyron shared, “The Hospice have been incredible in making Andy’s day to day life as comfortable as it can be and are always at the end of the phone, offering not just support for Andy but support to the family as well.”
Kyron’s challenge began with a gruelling 50km non-stop race along the South Downs Way. Just a week later, he took part in Weston Hospicecare’s Mendip Challenge, running 30 miles and finishing an impressive 3rd out of 1,296 participants.
Originally setting a fundraising target of £250, Kyron has been overwhelmed by the support he’s received. Thanks to the generosity of donors, he has raised an incredible £6,270 and counting.
Thank you, Kyron, for your incredible strength and unwavering determination. We are truly grateful that you took on these challenges in support of Weston Hospicecare.
