To coincide with Hospice UK’s Hospice Care Week, Weston Hospicecare is releasing a series of videos to show how different areas of the hospice come together to deliver health care services to those with life-limiting illnesses in the community.
The week’s aim is to raise the profile of hospice care across the UK. Each year Hospice UK holds a week of celebration and action, which helps to change people’s perceptions of hospice care.
Today we take a look at the Wellbeing Centre which provides complementary therapy to our patients to relieve pain and stress. Alison Bailey manages the centre for us here at the hospice and she discusses how important therapy can be to our patients and families.
