What is Blue For You?
For one week in October, Blue For You shines a spotlight on the importance of our hospice, and the amazing staff and community that support it.
Blue For You encourages awareness and donations for Weston Hospicecare by asking the community to come together and spread the word that your local hospice needs you!
When is it?
Hospicecare Week and Blue For You will take place during the week of 6 – 12 October 2025.
How can I get involved at school/at work/in my community?
- Wear it blue! Dress in your best blue shirt, fancy dress in blue, or don your favourite denim for the day.
- Bake sales are always popular. Enlist keen bakers to make their finest blue creations – think blueberry cupcakes, blue velvet cake, and more.
- Decorate your classroom/office/shop with all things blue: balloons, banners, bunting, lanterns, lights, streamers, ribbons, party hats, and a sweet buffet of blue offerings.
- Test your colleagues or students’ knowledge with our fun blue quiz! There’s even an option for our team to visit your school and take part in an assembly.
- Holding a blue raffle or tombola is another surefire winner. Our special Blue For You fundraising pack contains posters to advertise your event, a fun set of blue props for all-important photos, and support from the Blue For You team to help make your fundraising as successful as possible!
