Salary: £25,000 – £29,000 dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 per week (part-time considered)

We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated professional to join our dedicated Family Support Team.

You will be an experienced Counsellor and Bereavement Services Manager in End of Life Care, providing a service for patients and their families which addresses pre- and post-bereavement needs.  Ideally, you will also have a qualification and experience in dealing with children with bereavement issues.

Working within the Family Support Team you will be responsible for pre bereavement counselling, management of the bereavement service and the day to day co-ordination of a team of around 18 bereavement volunteer visitors; to include holding training and supervision sessions for the Team. You will also take an active part in existing groups, support the training and supervision of other volunteer groups in the Team and the ongoing development of the service.
