Life with us

At Weston Hospicecare, we’re committed to bringing life to days. If you work for us, you’ll know that each moment you’re at work involves making a positive difference to those in your local community. We look after hundreds of patients and their loved ones each year, and no matter what role you have in the hospice – whether you’re raising funds or directly providing the care – you’ll be helping to ensure those we care for can live as well as they can for as along as they can.

With seven volunteers for every paid member of staff, we are truly a community-led organisation. Although the hospice itself is based in Weston-super-Mare, our care stretches out across the area as far north as Clevedon, as far east as Wedmore and as far south as Burnham-on-Sea.

The benefits

As well as development opportunities, pension and a competitive salary, you’ll also enjoy a variety of benefits. These range from 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) to a group personal pension scheme (or a continuation of an NHS Pension scheme for existing members, subject to availability). After your qualifying period, you’ll also be eligible for occupational sick pay, too.

We love hearing from great people.
