  • Location: Weston-super-Mare

    Salary: £15,015 per annum (£7.70 per hour) pro rata for part time

    Hours: 30 per week including alternate Saturdays                  

    Working on one of our town centre stores you will assist the Shop Manager in the day to day management of our charity shops. The duties will include accepting and pricing donated goods, gift aid registration, merchandising, health and safety, managing volunteer staff, creating strong merchandising displays within the shop, running activities to help attract customers, and maintaining great standards to give our customers a great shopping experience.

    Working with a team of volunteers this role needs to develop and maintain excellent relationships with our customers and donors being an ambassador for the Hospice.

    You will need to have experience of working in a retail environment and be able to demonstrate a high level of customer service. You will be required to complete paperwork and therefore a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is essential.

    The role has a strong focus on maximising income to support the Hospice.

    This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys retail and working in a lively, fast paced environment. You will need to have enthusiasm, be customer orientated and enjoy working with a diverse range of products and people.

  • Salary:  Weston Hospicecare Band 5

    Weston Hospicecare provides care for local people who are living with life-limiting illnesses. We are currently looking for Registered Nurses to join our team of highly skilled bank nurses. Our bank nursing staff cover our 10 bedded In-Patient Unit, Day Hospice and community nursing team on a variety of shifts to cover a 24-hour period during periods of sickness or holiday.

    Ideally you will have had experience working with patients within palliative care or oncology; however, if you consider yourself able to deliver high quality patient care, had recent acute care experience and have a keen interest in palliative care, we would like to hear from you.

    Appointment to this post is subject to an Enhanced DBS certificate.

  • Hours: Variable
    Salary: £7.50 per hour
     
    As a Casual/Bank Catering Assistant, you will provide cover for staff holidays and sickness, sometimes at short notice. The hours may include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
     
    We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can offer flexibility in working hours to assist in the preparation and delivery of high quality and nutritious meals.
     
    You must have experience in catering with a good understanding of nutritional needs and excellent food presentation skills. You will have a cooking/catering qualification or equivalent experience as well as a current food hygiene certificate. You must have a friendly and flexible manner and be an effective communicator at all levels.
     
    The successful applicant will be required to hold a standard DBS Certificate
