Let’s work together to bring life to days
Why should your company choose to support Weston Hospicecare?
As a local charity, the work we do has a direct impact on your local community. We’ve probably cared for one of your customers or for one of your staff’s loved ones. Our nurses are regularly out in the community, supporting people throughout North Somerset and the border areas.
Every year, we rely on the support of hundreds of businesses and others in our local area to help us raise £2.7 million each year. This support comes in many forms, from raising money as part of Charity of the Year initiatives, match-funding the money that employees raise as individuals, giving the hospice the gift of time as volunteers, taking on your own fundraising initiatives or participating in one of our events.
If you are thinking of supporting Weston Hospicecare at your company or organisation, look around this website to find out more about what we do, how we’re funded and what our vision and values are. We’ve got a lot of great opportunities for you to get involved (including choosing us as your Charity of the Year, which is a great opportunity to unite your staff behind a worthwhile cause that they can identify with and feel passionate about). Whatever you choose, we will be on hand to advise how your staff can get involved in fundraising activities, volunteering, events, challenges and more.

Why should your school support Weston Hospicecare?
There are lots of ways for your school to get involved with raising funds for Weston Hospicecare. We know that some of you might have concerns about raising funds for a hospice, particularly with younger children, and we’re here to help you explain, in an age-appropriate way, what the hospice is and how your support will help.
We’ve also created a helpful A-Z of school fundraising ideas that’s full of interesting fundraising ideas to get you started. We want you to be creative and find a fundraising idea that engages your students, so feel free to use your imagination. Anything you choose to do — from bucket collections to ‘Art with a heart’ auctions to fancy dress fundraisers — will help raise much-needed funds for the hospice.
If you would like our support in organising your event, please contact our fundraising team, call us on 01934 423 960 or click here to register your event.
